• Manage design consultants, sub‑consultants and sub‑contractors to deliver timely design information for site execution. • Mentor and oversee design coordinators across projects. • Ensure compatibility between Employer’s Requirements and Contractor Proposals. • Support design coordination during the construction phase. • Chair and minute design meetings, delivering design‑aligned documentation.

What You Bring
We are seeking a Design Engineer with building engineering experience, particularly on local authority projects, to join our Cork team. The role reports to the project team and involves fully understanding and managing design requirements for tenders and projects, as well as providing guidance to design coordinators. • Apply knowledge of client procurement routes and pre‑construction processes. • Understand Design‑Build contracts and demonstrate commercial awareness. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Viewpoint for Projects (4Projects). • Hold a degree in a construction‑related discipline with at least six years of industry experience.
