About the Role

The Janitorial Manager leads the custodial team, ensuring the quality and execution of each job while providing performance feedback and advancement recommendations. The role requires flexibility in work shifts, a collaborative team effort, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and make solid decisions in a dynamic environment. Daily responsibilities include reporting customer complaints, transportation issues, and safety concerns, as well as performing cleaning services whenever needed. The manager also handles administrative duties such as material ordering, supply management, time‑card processing, mixing detergents, reporting repairs, and operating equipment like floor buffers and vacuums. • Lead and evaluate the custodial team to ensure high-quality job execution. • Provide on-the-job training for new and experienced team members. • Manage daily reporting of customer complaints, transportation issues, and safety concerns. • Perform cleaning services, operate floor buffers, vacuums, and mix cleaning solutions per specifications. • Oversee administrative tasks such as material ordering, supply management, and time‑card processing. • Identify and report repair needs and coordinate maintenance requests. • Maintain safe work practices and comply with OSHA and company safety standards. • Read blueprints and shop drawings to estimate labor hours and material requirements. • Work in an inclusive environment with equal‑opportunity policies and ADA accommodations.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of relevant facilities management experience, computer literacy with MS Office, and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Additional requirements include trade knowledge for estimating labor and materials, blueprint reading, safe work practices, the ability to lift 50 lb, and a valid driver’s license. • Possess at least five years of facilities management experience and proficiency with MS Office. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb and hold a valid driver’s license.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $76,200.80 to $89,648.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits package covering health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, and paid or unpaid time off. Pay varies based on location, experience, collective bargaining status, and other eligibility factors, with a guarantee of at least minimum wage. • Earn a salary between $76,200.80 and $89,648.00, plus comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, and insurance benefits.
