About the Role
The main purpose of the role is to lead end‑to‑end project‑management commissions, taking responsibility for service delivery, commercial control, budgeting, forecasting and schedule management. The Project Manager must ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets while supporting clients in their transition to Net Zero and building long‑term trusted‑advisor relationships. • Lead end‑to‑end project‑management commissions for defence infrastructure projects. • Manage commercial aspects, including monthly budgeting, forecasting and budget control. • Oversee project schedules and ensure delivery to time, cost and quality targets. • Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting Net Zero transitions. • Use planning software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project to create and maintain project plans.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a relevant degree and a professional qualification such as APM, PMI or Prince2. Proven experience administering NEC (or similar) contracts, constructing and maintaining project plans, and using planning tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project is essential. Applicants must be a sole UK national able to obtain and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). Desirable experience includes previous work with UK Government or Tier 1 organisations, especially Defence, NEC PMA accreditation, and familiarity with contract‑management software like CEMAR. Experience in regulated construction and infrastructure environments, RIBA stages, bid management, and coaching junior project managers is valued. Full membership of a chartered institute (e.g., MAPM, MCIWEM, MICE, MCIOB, MRICS) is also advantageous. • Hold a degree and a professional qualification (APM, PMI or Prince2) with NEC contract experience. • Secure UK MoD Security Clearance (SC) as a sole UK national. • Desirable: experience with UK Government/Defence, NEC PMA accreditation and CEMAR. • Desirable: background in regulated construction/infrastructure, RIBA stages and bid management. • Desirable: full membership of a chartered institute and coaching junior project managers.
