About the Role
The Construction Laborer assists craft workers with physical labor on job sites, helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction environment while supporting overall project goals. Daily duties involve a variety of manual tasks, tool maintenance, and providing on‑site assistance to skilled trades as needed. • Promote and comply with all company safety policies and procedures. • Complete all required safety documentation. • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery. • Level earth to fine grade specifications using shovels or hand tools. • Mix concrete or grout using a portable mixer. • Position, join, align, and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical parts. • Apply paints or bituminous compounds to surfaces for protection. • Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with a caulking gun to seal crevices. • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel surfaces using abrasive tools or machines. • Perform hand‑tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, and demolition. • Provide assistance on the site as needed and maintain assigned tools. • Perform physical labor on construction sites and may travel to different job sites on short notice.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with six to twelve months of construction experience, be able to read and follow safety and procedural documents, and possess basic math and unit‑conversion skills for measurements and torque adjustments. • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete with float, trowel, or screed.
