About the Role
• Develop training material for the Mott MacDonald Metro and Rail Learning Academy and lead the roll‑out of specific modules to colleagues in the APNA region. • Act as Systems Engineering and Integration lead for Mott MacDonald and/or on behalf of clients on major projects. • Coordinate with other disciplines and actively participate in interdisciplinary market‑facing business opportunities. • Develop Systems Integration strategies, plans and roadmaps for project needs. • Serve as SME for Operational Integration and Readiness, creating and implementing Operational Readiness Frameworks, operational proving activities, and ETCS Operational Integration and interoperability. • Serve as SME for Operational Safety and Assurance, developing and capturing operational safety and assurance arguments. • Serve as SME for Stage and Systems Definitions, creating Test Stage and Systems Definitions. • Serve as SME for Operational, Maintenance and Test Concepts, developing related concepts.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with experience delivering large, complex projects, specifically on the right‑side of the V. • Demonstrated holistic integration of complex systems from low‑level units and subsystems to end‑to‑end and operational integration. • Inclusive leadership style. • Ability to view project testing and commissioning strategy, priorities, verification of requirements, and personnel/equipment needs at a high level. • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering concepts and how operations, assurance, safety and V&V integrate with testing and commissioning. • Ability to use and drive IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (highly desirable). • Knowledge of CBTC and/or ETCS operation (desirable). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate progress and issues accurately at all organisational levels. • Desired experience delivering, integrating and testing rail systems with in‑depth knowledge of CBTC and ETCS.
