About the Role

What You Bring

The Engineer II level is a continuing development position in a nuclear power generation environment, performing competent engineering work with some supervision on complex tasks. Engineers outline plans for design, development, or implementation of specific projects and may be assigned to various nuclear disciplines such as systems, design, programs, electrical, materials, civil/structural, fuels, procurement, or regulatory affairs. Candidates must hold a four‑year B.S. degree in engineering or a related technical field from an ABET‑accredited institution, with at least two years of relevant experience preferred. Desired background includes commercial power plant or nuclear experience and familiarity with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code, In‑service testing, and 10 CFR 50 Appendix J. Successful applicants must obtain and maintain General Security and Nuclear Security clearances, including completion of nuclear General Access Training. • Complete required nuclear training and maintain General and Nuclear Security clearances. • Hold a BS in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program. • Minimum two years of relevant experience; commercial nuclear plant experience preferred. • Familiar with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code, In‑service testing, and 10 CFR 50 Appendix J.
