About the Role
Working in construction and high‑voltage distribution environments, the incumbent identifies hazards, strengthens controls, and maintains compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Responsibilities include site visits, audits, incident trend analysis, accident investigations, and developing training that fosters safety ownership across project teams. • Coordinate project management reviews of scopes, tenders, HSE plans, and subcontractor qualifications. • Serve as the HSE focal point for sites, supporting progress discussions and issue resolution. • Identify hazards and develop controls to reduce occupational risks. • Provide HSE advice, support, and training to management and workforce. • Conduct site visits and audits to evaluate process effectiveness and close execution gaps. • Support incident trend investigations and recommend preventive actions. • Lead accident investigations, ensuring root‑cause analysis and corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with external regulations, internal procedures, and guidelines. • Collaborative work with experienced power‑industry professionals.

The role supports all phases of project site execution, collaborating with project management to review scopes, tenders, and HSE plans, while ensuring subcontractors meet safety expectations. Candidates must have legal work authorization for the United States and meet one of the education‑experience combinations: a bachelor’s degree with eight years of HSE experience, an associate degree with ten years, or a high school diploma/GED with twelve years. Required experience includes OSHA‑related environments, electrical safety in high‑voltage settings, and the ability to travel up to 20 % of the time; ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 certification is preferred. • Legal authorization to work in the United States. • Bachelor’s degree + 8 years HSE experience, or Associate degree + 10 years, or HS Diploma/GED + 12 years. • Experience applying OSHA safety standards in daily operations. • Electrical safety expertise in high‑voltage distribution environments. • Ability to travel up to 20 % of the time. • Preferred ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
