About the Role
In this role you will develop leasing strategies, mentor staff, and collaborate with maintenance and other departments to meet occupancy and retention targets. You will also manage reporting, ensure accurate applicant documentation, and oversee the sales process and goal execution. • Oversee and motivate a team of leasing consultants to achieve occupancy goals. • Develop and implement leasing and resident retention strategies. • Conduct prospect follow‑ups, unit inspections, lease signings, and thank‑you communications. • Coordinate move‑in schedules and liaise with maintenance for unit turnovers. • Maintain accurate vacancy reports, activity logs, and applicant files. • Submit weekly property performance reports and process all monies within 24 hours. • Create monthly staffing schedules and provide ongoing training and support. • Assign sales targets, monitor progress, and adjust leasing tactics as needed. • Contribute to marketing initiatives, update social media, and conduct market surveys. • Supervise hiring, onboarding, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions for leasing staff. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

What You Bring
We are seeking an energetic Leasing Manager who is passionate about customer service and eager to shape the resident experience. The ideal candidate will lead a leasing team, drive occupancy goals, and ensure smooth lease signings while fostering a welcoming environment for prospects and current residents. Candidates must have an associate degree or 2‑3 years of related experience, preferably in property management or sales/customer service, and possess a valid driver’s license. Strong interpersonal, communication, attention‑to‑detail, and problem‑solving skills are essential. • Possess an associate degree or 2‑3 years of property management/sales experience. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication abilities. • Exhibit high attention to detail and effective problem‑solving skills. • Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; auto insurance may be required.
