About the Role

The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) role is designed for success, allowing the representative to generate profitable business from the profit center’s equipment portfolio. The OSR will develop territory sales plans, build strong customer relationships, and help reinforce Sunbelt’s national brand identity. • Develop and execute territory sales plans to grow the customer base. • Visit all customers on a five‑week rotation, maintaining positive relationships. • Generate new business through planned visits, cold calls, and phone outreach. • Provide technical sales and application solutions to customers. • Coordinate strategic entertainment events for key accounts. • Complete sales administration promptly, including reports and record‑keeping. • Collect payments and ensure accurate financial records. • Communicate equipment availability and rental programs with Marketing, Profit Center Manager, and Rental Manager. • Apply a solution‑selling approach and quickly learn technical concepts. • Analyze problems, gather data, and draw conclusions to ensure customer satisfaction. • Participate in extensive on‑the‑job training and a supportive, inclusive workplace.

What You Bring

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience. • Possess at least 2 years of direct sales experience. • Demonstrate strong project management, new‑business development, and customer‑retention abilities. • Deliver excellent presentations and communication. • Be able to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 25 lb or more; work indoors and outdoors as needed.
