About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program by handling corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks, and assists with the make‑ready process under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders. • Perform repairs and replacements in common areas, buildings, and units. • Assist in scheduling and executing maintenance‑related turn events and unit inspections. • Maintain exterior grounds, breezeways, and common areas, including swimming pool cleaning and chemical logging. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Execute the preventative maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce future repairs. • Organize and stock the maintenance shop while complying with safety and OSHA standards. • Support the hazard communications program and promote safe work practices. • Track inventory of equipment and supplies and keep accurate service records. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response as needed. • Meet physical demands such as climbing ladders, lifting 100+ lb objects, working in confined spaces, and operating power tools and vehicles. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

What You Bring
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
