About the Role

The Assembler is responsible for timely and accurate construction of sub‑assemblies and full assemblies to customer specifications, focusing on complex and repetitive wiring and mechanical work for Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and Transformers. The role requires adherence to detailed manufacturing processes and high attention to detail. Key duties include following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub‑assemblies, operating cranes to transport transformers and materials, and conducting visual inspections before and after assembly. The assembler utilizes fixtures, gauges, hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products, performs point‑to‑point wiring for PDUs, and works with sheet‑metal to construct transformer legs and related components. Additionally, the assembler operates ovens and VPI tanks as part of the assembly process. Completed assemblies are inspected to ensure compliance with quality standards, and necessary adjustments are made to meet quality goals. The assembler adheres to company, environmental, health, and safety regulations, proposes process and safety improvements, and ensures machines and tools are properly calibrated. Housekeeping duties are performed using the principles of 5S+. • Build sub‑assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units and Transformers following SOPs. • Operate cranes, ovens, and VPI tanks to move materials and complete assembly processes. • Perform visual inspections, point‑to‑point wiring, and sheet‑metal work, ensuring quality compliance. • Calibrate tools, maintain 5S housekeeping, and suggest safety or process improvements.
