About the Role

This Finance Manager role is positioned within KBR’s National Security Solutions division of MTS, supporting critical missions for federal customers. The position is contingent on contract award and requires close collaboration with program managers, cost analysts, and contract officers to ensure financial integrity and mission success. • Monitor cost control and financial reporting. • Ensure adherence to customer requirements and budgets. • Develop and maintain a CLIN database for contract purchases. • Review cash requirements and plan future procurement. • Improve cost‑effectiveness and operational efficiency. • Reconcile and approve vendor invoices for submission. • Analyze financial data to forecast option‑year budgets.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is an experienced, results‑driven finance professional who can identify issues, adapt program plans based on customer feedback, and guarantee the accuracy of financial reports before submission. With a deep understanding of accounting principles, the manager will track and analyze financial information, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and maintain accurate records to ensure funding availability. • Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. • Possess a B.A. in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience (10 years, including 6 years U.S. Government finance). • Bring 5+ years supporting U.S. Government contracts, preferably within the Intelligence Community. • Demonstrated ability to apply financial, budgeting, and accounting principles to produce weekly and monthly reports. • Experience creating spend plans, burn‑rate analysis, and maintaining CLIN databases. • Knowledge of CPAF, CPFF, and LOE contract types. • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, charts/graphs). • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior management.
