About the Role

The Quality Assurance Manager inspects and evaluates Lennar homes to ensure compliance with quality standards and building codes, supporting a zero-defect home experience and customer satisfaction. Key duties include conducting detailed QA inspections of materials and workmanship, verifying adherence to approved plans, specifications, and local codes, documenting defects, and completing QA acceptance on schedule. The manager maintains inspection records with photos and reports, communicates findings to contractors and stakeholders, and provides recommendations for improvement. • Conduct thorough QA inspections of homes focusing on materials and workmanship. • Verify construction aligns with approved plans, specifications, and local building codes. • Identify, document, and report defects, deviations, and non-compliance issues. • Maintain detailed inspection records, including photographs and written reports. • Communicate findings and improvement recommendations to contractors, community teams, and customers. • Provide training suggestions to elevate quality standards and best practices. • Lead new-home orientation sessions for customers. • Utilize inspection tools, equipment, and construction-management software (BuildPro, Salesforce). • Participate in regular in-person attendance at job sites and offices during standard work hours. • Contribute to an inclusive culture through the Everyone’s Included Advisory Council and equal-opportunity practices.

What You Bring

Qualifications require at least a high school diploma (college degree preferred), strong plan-reading ability, and knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes. Preferred experience includes construction quality inspection, certification in construction codes, proficiency with inspection tools, and familiarity with software such as BuildPro and Salesforce. The role demands physical fitness for outdoor work, the ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and operate a motor vehicle, as well as regular in-person attendance at job sites and offices. • Complete QA acceptance as scheduled by the Construction Management Team. • Hold at minimum a high school diploma; college degree and construction-code certification preferred. • Demonstrate strong plan-reading skills and knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes. • Meet physical requirements: ability to work outdoors, lift 50 lb, climb ladders, and operate a vehicle.
