About the Role

The Developmental Planner I is responsible for preparing work control documents that support preventative, corrective, and elective maintenance of plant and substation equipment. Work is assigned by the Planning Supervisor, and the planner focuses on completing the Maintenance Planner Qualification Manual to gain the knowledge needed to develop work plans independently. • Prepare work control documents for preventative, corrective, and elective maintenance of plant and substation equipment. • Complete the Maintenance Planner Qualification Manual to develop independent work planning capabilities. • Advance from Developmental Planner I to II and then to Maintenance Planner based on performance and evaluation. • Conduct technical research and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and instrumentation drawings to guide repairs and testing.

Candidates must hold an associate degree or journeyman certification, have at least four years of power‑plant experience, and possess knowledge of relevant codes and programs such as Fire Protection, Section XI, and Quality. • Apply knowledge of fire protection, EQ, Section XI, ISI, IST, MOV, AOV, and quality processes in planning activities. • Hold an associate degree or journeyman status and a minimum of four years of power‑plant experience. • Demonstrate highly developed verbal and written communication skills for interaction with personnel and customers.
