About the Role

Key responsibilities include preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D for land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer and water systems, and associated works. You will interpret civil design requirements from state government, local authorities and private clients, interface with transport, planning, surveying, traffic, electrical and landscaping disciplines, and interact directly with clients to understand project needs. • Prepare conceptual and detailed civil designs using 12D for subdivisions, roads, drainage, sewer, water and related infrastructure. • Interpret civil design requirements from state government, local authorities and private sector clients. • Coordinate with transport, planning, surveying, traffic, electrical and landscaping disciplines. • Communicate with clients to clarify project needs.

What You Bring

We have an opportunity for a Civil Designer to join our Community Development team in Springfield, reporting to the Design Lead. The role involves delivering civil design solutions across Brisbane and surrounding areas and is ideal for candidates with experience on multi‑disciplinary projects for councils, local governments, Main Roads, or developers. The ideal candidate demonstrates senior civil design experience in land, urban and subdivision projects, holds a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent, and has proven proficiency with 12D software.
