About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports property upkeep through corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, manages the make‑ready process, and assists the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in daily operations. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance tasks. • Execute make‑ready and turn‑around maintenance for units under supervision. • Maintain daily clean‑up of exterior grounds, breezeways, and common areas. • Conduct swimming‑pool maintenance, cleaning, and accurate chemical log documentation. • Inspect property daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Follow Asset Living policies, OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing regulations. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and compliant with safety standards. • Assist with inventory monitoring, hazard‑communication program, and record‑keeping. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and after‑hours duties as needed. • Provide excellent customer service and ensure consistent resident interactions. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.

What You Bring
• Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills. • Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Physical ability to lift/move objects of 100+ lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and handle overtime/on‑call schedules. • Reliable transportation required for emergency on‑call coverage.
