About the Role

As an Application Engineer, you will contribute to Hitachi Energy’s Network Control projects both in India and abroad. Network Control Systems are advanced real-time platforms that manage operations in modern control centres, providing integrated monitoring and control capabilities. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and verifying Hitachi Energy’s Network Control and third‑party software, as well as preparing and modifying technical documentation to meet project‑specific requirements. The role includes data collection, mapping, cleansing and loading into ES products, building graphical user interfaces, generating reports, and conducting systematic factory and on‑site testing with documented results. You will diagnose technical issues, provide solutions to internal and external customers, and coordinate with customers and local consultants to ensure satisfaction while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values. • Install, configure, and verify Hitachi Energy Network Control and third‑party software. • Prepare and modify technical documents to meet project requirements. • Collect, map, cleanse, and load data into Hitachi Energy ES products. • Build graphical user interfaces, displays, and generate reports. • Conduct factory and on‑site system testing and document results. • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by customers. • Liaise with customers and local consultants to ensure satisfaction. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines. • Uphold Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity core values.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electrical‑Electronic Engineering and have 2–4 years of experience with SCADA, EMS, or DMS products from a reputable vendor. Basic knowledge of a high‑level programming language, debugging tools, scripting, and the ability to write complex SQL queries is required, along with familiarity with power applications. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electrical‑Electronic Engineering. • Possess 2–4 years of experience with SCADA, EMS, or DMS products. • Have basic knowledge of a high‑level programming language and debugging tools. • Demonstrate scripting ability and expertise in writing complex SQL queries. • Understand power applications. • Communicate proficiently in spoken and written English.
