About the Role
The role sits within the regional risk function, working closely with Regional Risk Directors and local leadership to integrate risk management across the organization, represent the region in global risk forums, and ensure compliance with ERM’s commitments and expectations. • Identify, assess, evaluate, and prioritize risks to support partners and regional functions. • Provide decision‑useful risk insights for internal operations and commercial opportunities. • Conduct second‑line risk monitoring and reporting, including emerging risks at the regional level. • Collaborate with Regional Risk Directors, local leadership, and other functions for integrated risk management. • Represent the region in Global Risk Management forums. • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of external and internal risks, regulations, and technical standards. • Lead risk assessments, develop mitigation approaches, and analyze risk performance. • Analyze complex data, identify trends, and apply risk assessment methodologies and tools. • Communicate risk information clearly to stakeholders across multiple levels. • Deliver effective training and adapt risk programs to regional cultural needs. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders. • Mentor junior risk management staff and foster their development. • Challenge the status quo when appropriate and influence risk‑related decisions.
