About the Role
The position oversees the full lifecycle of higher‑education construction projects, from strategic planning through design, construction, and post‑completion reporting, while ensuring owner priorities are integrated. • Develop and manage project strategic plans and program initiatives aligned with owner goals. • Serve as the Owner’s Advisor, overseeing all phases of the project. • Lead overall planning, design, and construction processes and coordinate related activities. • Guide clients through design and construction complexities, ensuring ownership priorities are reflected. • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project team members to meet objectives and resolve issues. • Negotiate, draft, and execute contracts, overseeing all contract elements. • Manage project budget and schedule, providing regular reporting to the team and client. • Lead proposal review, leveling, and analysis, presenting findings to the client. • Conduct consultant and vendor selection, preparing RFQs/RFPs, evaluating firms, and negotiating terms.

The client‑facing role blends in‑house cost management, scheduling, and project leadership. We seek professionals with extensive construction management experience, strong technical knowledge of building methods and specifications, and excellent communication and analytical abilities. • Hold a BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline. • Possess 8+ years of construction project management experience, specifically in higher‑education facilities. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and technical drawings/specifications. • Exhibit excellent oral, written, and business presentation communication skills. • Show analytical ability and success in building cross‑organizational team relationships.
