About the Role
The Superintendent works closely with the Construction Manager / Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations on utility‑scale solar projects. This role oversees both company and subcontract crews, ensures safe, quality‑focused delivery, and engages frequently with customers, trade partners, and project documentation. • Cultivate safety as a core value and support the corporate safety program. • Assist the Site Manager with project budgeting, estimating production rates, and weekly forecasting. • Perform accurate take‑offs, production reporting, and daily reporting to the Site Construction Manager. • Supervise foremen and field crews, ensuring crew efficiency, schedule adherence, profitability, and customer satisfaction. • Monitor work progress, inspect sites for hazards, and maintain a safe work environment. • Review project documents, plans, and specifications; direct construction activities and resolve field issues. • Receive, store, and protect project materials and equipment, reporting shortages or damage promptly. • Attend weekly progress meetings and customer‑required meetings, addressing questions and providing updates. • Coordinate with the Site Manager to mitigate delays caused by weather, emergencies, or other disruptions. • Ensure accurate and complete project records are maintained. • Provide support to other Cinterra divisions and handle special assignments as directed.

What You Bring
Cinterra expects the Superintendent to support the corporate safety program, maintain accurate project records, and collaborate with other divisions as needed. The position requires strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, computer proficiency, and in‑depth knowledge of MV and DC electrical systems. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED (advanced education preferred), have at least three years of construction management experience in utility‑scale solar, and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E certification, local codes, and the ability to read contracts and specifications are required. • Hold NFPA 70E certification (preferred) and OSHA training/certifications. • Ability to work long/extended hours, including weekends, and travel frequently. • Effective time‑management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Collaborative work style with a commitment to get the job done. • Understanding of local AHJ standards, NEC code, and ability to interpret contracts and specifications.
