About the Role
The Program Director for the Amphibious Combat and Support (ACS) CLCM program will lead strategy, business development, and project delivery within the Capability Sustainment and Modernisation unit. Based on Garden Island, Sydney, the role also welcomes candidates from other locations with an attractive relocation package. Key responsibilities include initiating and setting CLCM goals aligned with ACS Enterprise strategic objectives, supervising strategic CLCM decisions, and influencing industry developments at senior levels. The director will advance technology exploitation, develop long‑term relationships with customers, partners, and subcontractors, and steward the ACS Enterprise’s technical risk management, continuous improvement, and performance analysis. Management of the CLCM contract and delivery of the program to the customer’s satisfaction, acting as a trusted adviser, completes the core duties.

What You Bring
Applicants should hold a tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, business management or a related field, and possess a strong maritime background. Extensive experience in defence‑domain project or program management, particularly Tier 1 maritime sustainment services and earned‑value management, is required. Candidates must demonstrate leadership, communication skills, and hold an active Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) defence security clearance.
