About the Role

The role ensures all work complies with Health & Safety regulations, RA/MS documentation, and permit requirements. Acting as the main on‑site contact, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations on complex, fast‑paced projects, including installation of critical power systems such as LV/MV switchgear, UPS, and power distribution equipment. You will work closely with the Project Manager, providing updates, forecasting needs, identifying risks early, and ensuring effective resource utilisation to support profitability and highlight additional scope. Additionally, you will act as an auditor for site testing, commissioning, and quality verification activities. • Ensure compliance with health & safety, RA/MS documentation, and permits. • Serve as primary on‑site contact overseeing daily operations. • Oversee installation of LV/MV switchgear, UPS, and power distribution equipment. • Collaborate with Project Manager for updates, forecasting, and risk identification. • Optimise resource utilisation to support project profitability and identify extra scope. • Audit site testing, commissioning, and quality verification activities.

What You Bring

The position requires CSCS and SMSTS certification (training can be provided) and proven experience managing construction sites, preferably within electrical systems, critical power projects, or data centre environments. A strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction Health & Safety requirements, solid engineering knowledge with an electrical background, and experience using H&S systems, Quality Management Systems, and document control tools are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder‑management skills, as well as the ability to prioritise, solve problems, and adapt quickly on fast‑moving projects, are also required. Fluency in English is mandatory. • Hold CSCS and SMSTS certifications (training available). • Demonstrated experience managing construction sites, especially electrical or data‑center projects. • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction H&S requirements. • Strong electrical engineering background and familiarity with H&S, QMS, and document control tools. • Proficient in Microsoft 365. • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder‑management abilities. • Ability to prioritise, solve problems, and adapt quickly on fast‑moving projects. • Fluent English.
