• Lead project teams within the GMC Georgia Architecture studio • Participate in a multi‑office practice sharing best practices for civic, academic, and healthcare projects • Assign tasks and direct architects, technicians, and administrative staff • Manage multiple moderate‑size projects or portions of major projects • Design and detail complete projects, system components, or processes • Prepare complete project documents, including manuals and specifications • Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of architectural work • Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments • Independently perform assignments with general result guidance • Interact with clients, officials, contractors, and other stakeholders • Attend project meetings and present specific architectural aspects • Balance multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively

What You Bring
The Georgia Architecture Studio in Augusta is hiring a Senior Project Manager/Project Architect. The role leads technical execution and delivery of projects, requires strong Revit skills, and includes mentoring responsibilities within the studio. The position is based in Georgia, with travel primarily within the state to project sites as needed. GMC emphasizes flexibility, noting that duties may evolve with business needs. • Apply broad knowledge of architectural principles and practices • Proficient in Revit Architecture and complementary design tools • Function effectively within multidisciplinary teams • Understand the full project process from development and scoping through design and construction • Understand economic and decision‑analysis principles, including financial, regulatory, and environmental issues • Demonstrate leadership, decision‑making, time management, and delegation skills • Hold a Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program • Possess 5‑10 years of relevant architectural experience • Be a registered architect in Georgia or have completed the NCARB program • Exhibit strong listening and communication abilities • Be a self‑starter, team player, and able to build strong working relationships • Possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Adapt to changing business needs and make timely decisions
