About the Role
A Driver – CDL (A) safely operates heavy commercial trucks, tractor‑trailers, or straight trucks with pup trailers to deliver and remove large containers. The driver must ensure the vehicle meets the company's safety standards, complies with state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, following assigned routes, operating truck controls to load, compact, and dispose of waste, and interacting courteously with customers and dispatchers. The driver also performs minor container repairs, tags unsatisfactory containers, monitors waste for violations, cleans spills, and maintains vehicle readiness to minimize downtime. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections. • Safely operate the truck along designated routes and to disposal sites. • Operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and team members. • Perform minor repairs on containers on site or in the yard. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers. • Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable material. • Clean areas around accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Continuously monitor vehicle condition and clean waste from containers each trip. • Complete route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other required documentation. • Maintain required productivity standards for timely customer service. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Participate actively in the ReSOP safety program. • Adhere to company policies and promote safety standards. • Utilize health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Use the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Take advantage of employee discount programs. • Enroll in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).

What You Bring
The role requires strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities, along with a commitment to safety policies and company standards. Preferred candidates have at least two years of commercial truck experience and mechanical aptitude for minor repairs, while a Class A CDL with air‑brake endorsement is mandatory. • Demonstrate strong customer service and professional conduct. • Exhibit effective time‑management and follow‑through abilities. • Possess at least two years of commercial truck driving experience (preferred). • Show mechanical aptitude for minor container repairs. • Hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement.
