About the Role

Mortenson is hiring a Scheduler I to perform routine planning and scheduling assignments using basic scheduling principles for its operating groups. The role involves creating and maintaining project schedules, supporting supervision, and assisting site management in addressing scheduling challenges. Candidates will work collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization. • Draft schedules using CPM scheduling software under supervision. • Monitor and update project schedules to support supervision. • Help site management develop mitigation plans for scheduling issues. • Build relationships with diverse individuals across organizational levels. • Read, review, and interpret plans and specifications. • Provide medical, prescription drug, and vision coverage at no extra cost. • Supply a no‑cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work‑life resources. • Provide adoption assistance.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. • Prefer prior experience on construction job sites. • Possess basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software. • Understand standard construction practices and project sequencing. • Apply creativity and mature judgment to anticipate and solve problems. • Collaborate effectively in cross‑functional, team‑based environments. • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with initiative for innovative solutions. • Exhibit active listening and effective communication, welcoming diverse input. • Maintain excellent organizational skills and a desire to learn. • Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Power Project software is a plus.

The position offers a base salary ranging from $78,800 to $98,500, with higher ranges for certain locations, and eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
