About the Role
A Service Technician I at White Cap supports and conducts basic customer and warranty repairs, documenting with pictures or information. They record information about parts, materials, or repair procedures, assist with inspections for preventive maintenance, and participate in inspections on new construction equipment from manufacturers. The role also includes installing Salesman kits on new and used equipment, inspecting trade‑in units for sale, diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and gasoline engine systems, selecting parts for estimates and repairs, and using diagnostic tools and laptops to diagnose issues. Generally, candidates have 0‑2 years of experience and perform other duties as assigned. • Perform customer and warranty repairs, documenting with photos. • Record parts, materials, and repair procedures. • Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections. • Install Salesman kits on new and used construction equipment. • Inspect trade‑in units for resale preparation. • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and gasoline engine systems. • Select and estimate parts needed for repairs. • Utilize diagnostic tools and laptops for troubleshooting.

What You Bring
