About the Role

In this role, the dispatcher ensures prompt receipt and delivery of equipment to customers and between Sunbelt stores, complying with company and DOT standards. Key duties include coordinating and dispatching road mechanics, creating and monitoring mechanic and equipment schedules, and reviewing daily and weekly driver logs for compliance. The dispatcher performs daily truck inspections, works closely with other store locations to meet equipment needs, and handles customer complaints professionally. Additional responsibilities involve reporting problems to supervisors, providing feedback on equipment delivery, and following standard operating procedures.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school education, working knowledge of DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and at least two years of experience with construction or industrial equipment. Customer service and dispatch training are a plus, along with knowledge of the delivery area and strong communication skills. The role requires physical abilities such as lifting 50 lb, bending, squatting, and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
