About the Role
The operator will primarily run a large wheeled loader in the quarry pit to load haul trucks that feed the crusher, ensuring production pace is maintained. Additional duties may include operating other heavy equipment as needed, based on plant manager and foreman direction. • Operate large wheeled loader (e.g., CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500‑8) to load haul trucks. • Maintain production pace while loading trucks in the quarry pit. • Assist with other heavy equipment (dozer, track hoe, skid steer) as needed.

What You Bring
The company is seeking a Pit Loader Operator for its Gallatin Quarry near Gallatin, TN. This full‑time, day‑shift position offers wages starting at $23.00 per hour and requires experience operating a large wheeled loader such as a CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500‑8, or WA600‑8, with a strong commitment to safety. Candidates must have at least two years of experience with large wheel loaders and preferably experience with other equipment like dozers, track hoes, or skid steers. They must demonstrate an uncompromising focus on safety, be self‑motivated, able to work independently, and flexible to overtime and weekends. A pre‑employment drug screen and valid I‑9 documentation are required. • Minimum two years experience operating large wheel loaders. • Preferred experience with a variety of heavy equipment. • Work independently with minimal supervision. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and provide I‑9 documentation.
