About the Role

• Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes using appropriate technology platforms. • Design optimized road and site grading models with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Collaborate with survey data and field teams via Trimble Business Center to deliver designs. • Execute BIM/VDC tasks such as existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, 4D planning, site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, coordination, digital fabrication, and record modeling. • Serve as the VDC point of contact for construction team members throughout all construction phases. • Document and improve company process standards related to VDC. • Assist in training on VDC processes and promote participation in the Integrated Delivery Advancement Team (IDAT) community of practice. • Perform daily work planning and other duties as assigned. • Utilize Microsoft Office, project, and web applications at an intermediate level.

What You Bring

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Coordinator II for its Data Center Structured Cabling Team. The role will implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes throughout all project phases, requiring strong communication, flexibility, and high integrity. Travel is expected 50‑75%, with locations including LA, MN, WY, NM, and WI. Mortenson provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of protected characteristics and requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. • Hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field. • Possess 4+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and/or ArcGIS. • Have survey data knowledge (preferred) and GIS data management skills (a plus). • Complete intermediate‑level BIM/VDC software training. • Exhibit strong detail orientation and ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously. • Understand basic construction law and generally accepted business practices. • Maintain a positive, professional attitude with strong customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative, problem‑solving, and leadership skills. • Show openness to change based on diverse input and feedback. • Hold a valid driver’s license.

The position offers a base salary range of $89,500 – $120,800, adjusted upward for certain locations (e.g., Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Washington, D.C.).
