About the Role

The Maintenance Technician role supports property maintenance—including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work—and assists with make‑ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the property daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic repairs, including swimming pool maintenance with accurate chemical logs. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and community features to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Assist with scheduling and execution of maintenance‑related turn events and unit make‑ready processes. • Maintain a clean and organized exterior, including grounds, breezeways, and common areas, and support office and model‑unit upkeep. • Keep the maintenance shop well‑stocked, organized, and compliant with safety standards and OSHA guidelines. • Support the hazard communications program, promote safe work practices, and participate in on‑call emergency response. • Track service requests, preventative maintenance, EPA/OSHA compliance, inventory, and make‑ready status with accurate records. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies consistently. • Manage inventory of equipment and supplies and utilize property resources economically.

What You Bring

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA, reliable transportation for on‑call duties, and must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and work overtime, weekends, or night hours as required.
