About the Role

The specialist will support communication, outreach, and engagement for complex airport infrastructure projects, working closely with multiple project teams throughout planning, design, pre‑construction, and construction phases. Responsibilities include creating and distributing clear public‑facing materials, managing stakeholder coordination, and maintaining consistent messaging across all channels. • Create and disseminate FAQs, fact sheets, presentations, advisories, and press releases aligned with branding standards. • Coordinate internal and external communications through approved channels, ensuring accurate, timely information sharing. • Attend project meetings to translate technical details into clear, audience‑friendly messaging. • Organize logistics for media events, press tours, and milestone activities. • Provide strategic communication support and counsel. • Track, monitor, and report public inquiries and complaints, escalating sensitive issues as needed. • Maintain and update project web content, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of advisories and schedules. • Oversee visual and digital communications, including photography, video, and social media content creation. • Draft PowerPoint presentations and briefing materials for diverse audiences. • Manage stakeholder engagement initiatives and keep organized outreach records. • Collaborate with contractors to implement communication protocols.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications or a related field and have at least ten years of experience in public or stakeholder communications, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure projects. Strong written, visual, and verbal skills, proficiency with digital tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, CMS, email marketing platforms), and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment are required. Applicants must pass a federal background check and be prepared to submit an updated résumé, certifications or licenses, professional references, and a detailed project list.
