About the Role

The position supports the F‑22 Raptor program, the premier air‑dominance fighter designed for stealth, speed, and lethality. The team consists of mission‑focused professionals who provide technical expertise and operational insight to maintain U.S. air superiority and allied interoperability. • Provide avionics engineering support for CNI (Communications, Navigation, Identification) systems • Integrate and sustain IFF Mode 5 capability • Develop and modernize secure voice communications • Assist with GPS and antenna upgrades and integration • Collaborate with program offices, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure technical compliance • Execute high‑visibility, mission-critical tasks independently • Work independently on mission‑critical program aspects • Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance

What You Bring

The role is on‑site with up to 25 % travel and follows standard working hours. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. • Hold a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET‑accredited) with 15 years of relevant experience • Demonstrate advanced avionics engineering expertise and ability to supervise junior staff • Possess comprehensive knowledge of avionics standards, procedures, and practices • MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 11 years of experience • Familiarity with the F‑22 platform and its avionics systems • Experience with secure communication protocols and cryptographic equipment • Knowledge of GPS modernization and antenna integration • Understanding of DoD acquisition processes, capability verification, and MIL standards
