About the Role

The role requires reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, isometric drawings, engineering instructions, and manufacturing documentation. Technicians install, repair, maintain, and calibrate electronic controls and measuring devices, test equipment for accuracy, perform preventative maintenance, and complete reports documenting all work performed. • Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate electronic equipment and gauges. • Perform testing, analysis, and preventative maintenance of instrumentation. • Complete detailed reports on tests, repairs, and installations. • Apply electrical theory for wiring and calibrating devices. • Work at heights up to 300 ft with proper fall protection.

What You Bring

This position is for maintenance work only; per diem is not provided. Instrument technicians install, repair, maintain, and calibrate electronic equipment and gauges that control, regulate, or monitor mechanical systems. Candidates must have at least four years of instrumentation experience and be able to read blueprints and work with both low- and high-pressure tubing and piping. All required journeyman tools and power tools must be owned, and the technician must possess knowledge of electrical theory, gauge usage, and precision instrumentation. Work may involve heights up to 300 ft with fall-protection equipment, exposure to outdoor elements, and the use of mandatory personal protective equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and harness. The NCCER Industrial Instrumentation Fitter certification is required, and the employer maintains a safe, drug‑free, equal‑opportunity environment. • Minimum 4 years of instrumentation experience. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, isometric drawings, and P&IDs. • Own required journeyman tools and associated power tools. • Operate in all weather conditions while wearing required PPE. • Hold NCCER Industrial Instrumentation Fitter certification.
