About the Role

This Opportunity provides leadership within a sector of the organization to ensure civil engineering subject matter, technical deliverables, and infrastructure projects are delivered with quality that meets or exceeds industry and company standards for design, safety, and functionality. The role includes SME innovation, administration, and ensuring corporate compliance with local, state, and federal engineering, construction, and safety regulations, while offering pragmatic direction to address current and future challenges in a rapidly changing business climate. Your Impact is to provide proactive and strategic leadership for the civil engineering discipline, offering direction, expertise, and support to ensure project and work site deliverables are successfully achieved. Responsibilities include engineering review of permit applications, design plans, contracts, management plans, and construction inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and sound engineering practice. The incumbent will lead larger, complex civil engineering projects, preparing and overseeing budgets, monitoring external events, tracking hours and expenses, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees. They will also be responsible for business development, contract negotiations, presentations, and supporting the long‑term strategy, growth, and pipeline development of civil engineering work in the assigned geography, focusing on infrastructure opportunities across planning, design, and program management. • Lead complex civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. • Review permits, design plans, contracts, and conduct construction inspections. • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, hours, expenses, and subcontractor performance. • Drive business development, negotiate contracts, and present proposals to clients. • Support long‑term strategy and pipeline growth for infrastructure opportunities. • Serve as liaison with federal, state, local agencies, clients, and industry groups. • Mentor and provide performance guidance to engineering staff. • Maintain professional engineering licensure and stay current with engineering techniques and software.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a professional engineering license, and at least 12 years of post‑graduation experience in civil and infrastructure design. Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency with civil engineering principles, construction laws, technical computations, and industry‑standard design software, as well as strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in engineering and experience managing document review and discipline‑specific deliverables in multi‑project environments.
