About the Role

Key duties include maintaining the company’s minimum sales performance standards, meeting or exceeding budgeted expectations, and maximizing sales opportunities while controlling commissions and administrative costs. The role also involves directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly. The manager sets clear, well‑defined goals for each associate and oversees staff in developing sales strategies to achieve those goals. They also hire, recruit, train, and develop staff, conduct performance appraisals, counseling, coaching sessions, and handle disciplinary actions or terminations. They assist sales representatives in closing sales and preparing the necessary documentation for transactions, and they conduct one‑on‑one and group sales and training meetings.
