About the Role
• Prepare engineering designs and technical data. • Oversee work and productivity on assigned projects. • Manage preparation of construction documents (drawings, specifications, estimates). • Perform structural inspections and prepare reports or letters. • Contribute to proposals and marketing support, including business development. • Develop work plans and man‑hour budgets. • Monitor project schedules and capital cost budgets. • Achieve profit, productivity, and delivery schedule targets. • Effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

What You Bring
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a well‑rounded, highly motivated engineer—already a Project Manager or ready to become one—to join our Holmdel, NJ structural team working on civil, marine, and amusement design projects. Our growing structural group offers hands‑on, diverse work ranging from proposal preparation to final design and construction support, within a people‑first culture, cutting‑edge projects, and a collaborative environment that fosters growth and impact. At Colliers we build careers. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering. • Possess 3+ years of structural engineering experience. • Have Engineer in Training (EIT) certification; PE license preferred. • Know steel, concrete, and timber design and applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC). • Be proficient in AutoCAD and structural design software (e.g., STAAD, Enercalc). • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Read, write, and understand English for job‑related communications.
