System Manager

About the Role

• Oversee sustainment activities in line with CAF16 mandates. • Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance. • Lead engineering certification and security accreditation processes. • Engage with ADF system sponsors, users, and key stakeholders. • Identify and mitigate risks, monitor system and contractor performance, and address obsolescence.

What You Bring

We have an opportunity for a System Manager in Canberra to work on Joint projects. The role requires a current Negative Vetting 1 or higher security clearance, and may involve compliance with ITAR requirements. • Experience in Air Force or ADF acquisition and sustainment management. • Knowledge of aviation operations, methodologies, tools, and governance. • Understanding of large‑scale enterprise IT architecture and management. • Proven IT and/or military project delivery experience. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Meaningful work delivering critical Defence projects that protect Australia.
