About the Role
In this position, the director will set strategic direction, manage resources, finances and quality controls, and act as a brand ambassador to develop new business opportunities. Responsibilities include coaching staff, promoting a culture of learning, inclusivity and respect, and collaborating with talent‑acquisition to secure top talent. The role also entails compliance with SOX controls and participation in internal and external audits. • Lead and develop a project‑management team delivering Life Science sector projects. • Manage client communications and oversee project delivery across multiple disciplines. • Conduct construction‑market research and produce thought‑leadership reports. • Set strategy, resource planning, financial management, and ensure ISO quality compliance. • Drive knowledge management, process improvement, risk mitigation, and KPI tracking. • Identify cross‑selling opportunities and act as brand ambassador to build a sales pipeline. • Prepare proposals/RFP responses, attend networking events, and represent the office in audits. • Mentor staff, partner with talent acquisition, and promote career advancement. • Ensure adherence to SOX control requirements where applicable.

What You Bring
The firm is seeking a Director of Project Management for its Atlanta office to lead a team of Project Managers delivering services on major Life Science projects. The role focuses on service excellence, expanding the project‑management offering, engaging clients and driving market outreach. The successful candidate will be a driven leader with strong interpersonal skills who can balance client, stakeholder and societal outcomes. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering (master’s preferred). • 12+ years of construction project‑management experience; 2+ years leading large multidisciplinary teams. • Proven delivery of services for projects exceeding $1 billion, preferably in pharma or utility sectors. • Strong business‑development acumen, presentation, verbal and written communication skills. • Experience with major commercial real‑estate, data‑center, life‑science, industrial or natural‑resource projects.
