About the Role
The Leasing Manager at Outpost Orchard trains and oversees onsite leasing functions while directing the sales efforts of the apartment community. This role provides exceptional service to residents, prospective residents, vendors, and the corporate management team and actively participates in external marketing and advertising of vacancies. Key duties include completing lease and renewal paperwork to company standards, explaining lease terms to residents, entering all leasing data into tracking systems, and conducting unit walkthroughs before showings and occupancy. The manager also reviews and audits leasing paperwork, submits daily, weekly, and monthly leasing reports, and tracks advertising and client traffic, ensuring online ads are updated daily. The role is responsible for training and developing leasing personnel in line with company policies, preparing marketing plans, leasing strategies, and advertising proposals with the Property Manager, and maintaining professional communication with residents, applicants, and vendors. It also involves reporting property issues and leasing objections with recommendations, setting goals, improving staff performance, analyzing program results, and implementing contests, awards, and leasing incentives. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining complete resident and office files with proper documentation, ensuring renter’s insurance compliance, monitoring month‑to‑month leases and audit compliance, tracking work order activity with daily follow‑up calls, and managing a lease expiration matrix. What You Bring
Required competencies are effective communication and customer service skills, basic Windows computer proficiency, a valid real estate license as required by state regulations, a courteous professional attitude, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines and follow all Cushman & Wakefield policies. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with at least three years of related experience and one year of management experience. The position operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, and requires regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical demands include climbing stairs, standing or sitting for up to 85% of the time, lifting up to 20 lb occasionally, and traveling up to 10% of work time. • Possess a valid real‑estate license and 3+ years related experience. • Demonstrate effective communication, customer service, and organization skills.
