About the Role
The Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) Field Coordinator will report directly to the OCS Package Manager and support installation and execution of project deliverables, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. This role requires close coordination with project management, safety, quality, and other subsystems to maintain compliance with agreements, specifications, and applicable legislation. • Ensure construction compliance with project agreements, quality, safety, environmental plans, and relevant legislation. • Review and understand the project schedule; report inspections, subcontractor performance, progress, and delays. • Participate in and facilitate project meetings related to execution and deliverables. • Identify and resolve site issues proactively to prevent project delays. • Implement and monitor all OCS‑related work on site according to the defined scope. • Control work execution against project specifications, approved drawings, and the project agreement. • Initiate and track Field Change Directives in coordination with the site team, package manager, and OCS Engineer of Record. • Plan material requisitions and resource needs ahead of schedule; monitor warehouse preparation and inventory levels. • Prepare and manage installation schedules; coordinate activities with the OCS superintendent and site supervisor. • Collaborate with Safety, Quality, and other subsystem representatives to enforce procedures and avoid installation clashes. • Support the site team with design and technical queries; issue and close Non‑Conformity Reports via Aconex. • Perform site quantity take‑offs and produce daily progress and related reports. • Participate in monthly OCS budget cost control and review processes. • Report close calls, incidents, or accidents to safety and line management promptly. • Represent the company professionally through clear on‑site communication and timely escalation of issues.
