FAB Machine Operator - WKND

About the Role

The FAB Machine Operator is responsible for performing technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to produce parts that meet specified work orders and drawings. • Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations. • Receive work assignments and instructions from the supervisor. • Perform initial set‑up on PLC, analog, or manual‑controlled machines. • Operate equipment and machinery to produce parts. • Interpret work orders, including written instructions, Kanban cards, and drawings. • Complete required paperwork and system transactions. • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation. • Inspect final components against work specifications. • Conduct necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment. • Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 35 pounds at waist, shoulder, or overhead levels. Applicants should demonstrate a proven history of safe work habits, good attendance, and the ability to work effectively without direct supervision. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications is required, along with the flexibility to work overtime on weekdays and weekends.
