About the Role
• Provide technical electrical skills to ensure safe equipment operation • Support Kaizen events with multi‑functional team members • Serve as subject‑matter expert on powered controls for the Safety Committee • Ensure electrical code compliance during equipment relocation projects • Obtain fixtures, tools, work aids, and poke yokes for workplace changes • Assist in developing shadow boards for 5S and workstations • Help maintenance maintain equipment and tooling • Support changes to systems and processes for Lean initiatives • Participate in, co‑facilitate, or facilitate projects and “just‑do‑its” • Follow up on action plans and close 5S findings • Assist operations in problem‑solving issues • Resolve issues after rapid improvement events to achieve desired state • Communicate Lean transformation direction and daily management initiatives to employees • Drive Lean culture change by coaching employees and leaders • Demonstrate and follow best safety practices • Concrete, metal, and wood preparation using appropriate tools • Read and interpret sketches, drawings, and dimensions • Use portable electronic communication devices, cell phones, and tablets

What You Bring
The Lean Tech role provides electrician technical skills to support the Aiken facility in the deployment of the Hubbell Manufacturing System. The position works closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager, Lean Lead Tech, contractors, and Hubbell employees to implement the Lean strategy for the site, driving continuous improvement through waste elimination, safety, 5S, and daily management initiatives. It also supports plant safety programs, Kaizens, and other Lean transformation activities. • Work effectively as part of a team or individually • High school diploma or equivalent • Painting and power‑tool skills • Fixture selection and material skills • Follow verbal and written instructions • Read and write English proficiently • Basic PC skills including email, Word, and company site navigation • Professional journeyman or equivalent experience required • Advanced electrical skills and code‑compliance knowledge
