About the Role
The engineer will act as the main point of contact and technical expert for maintenance and repair of E‑Mobility and HVDC stations, providing customer support by phone and on‑site, and collaborating with warranty project managers to resolve issues efficiently. • Serve as primary technical contact for maintenance and repair of E‑Mobility and HVDC stations. • Provide phone and on‑site customer support, managing issues and coordinating with warranty project managers. • Mentor less‑experienced staff and conduct customer training sessions. • Ensure compliance with health, safety and electrical standards on all tasks. • Support sales visits by representing Hitachi Energy and identifying business opportunities.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred), be a member or eligible for membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, and possess at least five years of experience with substations and industrial electrification projects. A solid understanding of electrical safety, standards, protection equipment, and computer‑based control systems, combined with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, is required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred) and be a member (or eligible) of a Canadian engineering association. • Minimum 5 years experience with substations, high‑voltage equipment and industrial electrification projects. • Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations, protection relays, HV breakers, transformers and computer‑based control systems. • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and initiative skills; able to lead subcontractors and client resources. • Willingness to travel frequently and work autonomously in high‑pressure situations.
