About the Role

The Press Brake Operator reviews shop operation packets and engineering drawings to confirm correct incoming material. Following production specifications and Group Lead instructions, they select and set up tools, equipment, and machines to maintain high‑quality workflow. They inspect output, make adjustments to correct non‑conforming parts, and report any issues that could affect quality or quantity. Routine maintenance—including tool sharpening, oiling, fluid replacement, and safety checks—is performed on all departmental equipment. The role also involves operating material‑handling equipment, safely handling loads up to 75 lb, and training other team members as required. • Review shop packets and engineering drawings to verify material correctness. • Select and set up tools, equipment, and machines according to production specs. • Inspect production output and adjust machinery to meet quality standards. • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including sharpening and fluid checks. • Operate material‑handling equipment and safely move loads up to 75 lb. • Report any operating or material conditions that could affect quality or quantity. • Train coworkers on job functions as needed. • Complete required paperwork and follow written instructions.

What You Bring
