Litigation Paralegal

About the Role

• Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents (pleadings, discovery, case management orders, etc.) • Correspond with opposing counsel, experts, witnesses, and clients • Obtain, organize, and maintain medical records, imaging, and bills • Assist in scheduling and preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials, including sending out notices, hiring court reporters/videographers, etc. • Coordinate and manage case schedules and comply with deadlines.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a litigation paralegal in a medical malpractice or personal injury environment preferred (but will look at defense side candidates) • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications. • Efile in State and Federal Courts • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Familiar with discovery in personal injury cases.
