About the Role

As a Fiber Splicer you will be responsible for producing end‑to‑end fiber optic networks, ensuring quality work, and operating in outdoor utility construction sites. • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic network continuity. • Operate testing equipment and resolve common fiber optic challenges. • Prepare fiber splice enclosures (e.g., Tyco, CommScope, Corning). • Use fusion splicer and test equipment such as OTDR (1310, 1550), DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, and power meter. • Apply fiber engineering knowledge to read designs, documentation, light levels, and dB loss. • Work on outdoor utility construction sites.
