About the Role

The Quarry Foreperson at Coldstones Quarry in Harrogate is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of the quarry on a day‑to‑day basis. This role involves leading a team of qualified operatives, coordinating production planning with site colleagues, suppliers, and contractors, and ensuring that labour, plant and materials are utilised cost‑effectively while minimising downtime. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. • Lead and motivate a team of qualified operatives. • Supervise daily quarry activities for efficient labour, plant, and material use. • Coordinate production planning with site colleagues, suppliers, and contractors. • Promote a strong safety culture and minimise downtime.
