About the Role
The Lead Engineer will manage task allocation, act as an Authorised Person where required, join the on‑call rota and ensure the mechanical workforce meets performance targets while providing technical guidance. • Allocate tasks to appropriate staff using the CAFM system. • Perform Authorised Person duties in relevant areas. • Participate in the Engineers' on‑call rota. • Ensure the workforce meets task KPIs. • Provide technical support and guidance to the workforce.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification, have supervisory and cross‑trade experience, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and possess a valid UK driving licence with the ability to reach sites promptly. • Hold NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., heating, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration). • HNC/ONC qualification desirable. • Experience in a supervisory role. • Cross‑trade experience advantageous. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience with HVAC, HV/LV electrical, generators, BMS controls, lighting, power distribution, IT infrastructure, boilers, UPS, fire alarm, security, DHCW, water treatment, lifts, etc. • Valid UK driving licence and own vehicle, or ability to reach site within one hour; public transport not suitable. • Standard DBS check required before start.
