About the Role
The Pump and Power Road Technician 2 is responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues, performing advanced repairs, and delivering solutions that meet customers’ needs. In the absence of a shop foreman or service manager, the technician may also lead and train other team members. • Leverage current skills in a challenging role • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems • Perform advanced and complex repairs on pump and power equipment • Assess customers’ needs and provide appropriate solutions • Lead and train team members in equipment repair when supervisory staff are absent

What You Bring
Candidates should bring five to seven years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment, a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record, and a DOT‑required medical card. An EPA Section 608 universal certification and a solid background in mechanical, electrical, diesel, generator, HVAC, and air‑compressor systems are essential. • Possess 5–7 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment • Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Pass a DOT physical examination (medical card) • Obtain EPA Section 608 universal certification • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, diesel, generator, HVAC, and air‑compressor systems • Expertise in refrigeration and load‑bank repairs • Familiarity with electrical engines, controllers, dehumidification equipment, VFDs/VSDs, soft starts, and motor starting • Ability to lift 25 lb or more and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and crouching
