What You Bring
We are looking for an experienced NDD operator / Drain cleaning Combo Unit Operator to support our Road Maintenance & Drainage team across the Melton Shire. This long‑term contract aims to create a sustainable, vibrant, and safe environment for the community. While this is primarily an operator role, you will also be expected to assist with general labouring tasks as needed and flexibility to work night shifts is essential. The position requires previous experience operating NDD and vacuum/eductor equipment on civil or drainage projects, strong awareness of underground services and safe digging practices, an HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence, and a White Card. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and uphold a Zero Harm safety culture. • Previous experience operating NDD and vacuum/eductor equipment in civil or drainage works • Strong awareness of underground service locations and safe dig practices • HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence (essential) • White Card (Construction Induction Card) • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
